After a great 2015 season, it’s onwards and upwards for the resurgent Impala class!

More details to follow soon, but here are some not-to-miss dates for South Coast boats for 2016, which will culminate in the Safari Cup, a new trophy, being awarded to the highest-scoring boat over the whole season.

• 16-17 April – Warsash Spring Championships – One Design class start
• 7-8 May – Solent Championships, RSrnYC- One Design class start
• 28-30 May – Southern Championships, Poole Regatta – One Design class start
• 2 July – Round the Island Race
• 15-17 July- Impala Nationals, Brixham YC
• 6-13 August – Cowes Week
